More than 2 mt of cargo handled at Indiana port 11 February 2017

More than 2.2 million tonnes (mt) of cargo passed last year through the Port of Indiana-Jeffersonville.

Officials at the port along the Ohio River in southeastern Indiana say Friday that the amount marks the third straight year that cargo handled there exceeded two million tons. Steel, grain and fertilizer are among the major cargoes that go through the port.

Air India Express to start Delhi-Dhaka services from Fe 11 February 2017

Air India Express will commence Delhi-Dhaka flight from February 16 as the budget carrier seeks to expand the international presence.

The carrier, which is the low-cost arm of national carrier Air India, would inaugurate the operations between Dhaka and Delhi on February 17. In a release, Air India Express said there would be four weekly flights on the route.

M&M to spend INR 1,500 cr in Nasik 11 February 2017

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) will invest INR 1,500 crore at its Nasik and Igatpuri plants in Maharashtra for the manufacturing of a new product code named U321.
