Saigon Newport Corporation to launch new Vietnam-Singapore service

Saigon Newport Corporation has launched a new intra-Asia service between Vietnam and Singapore starting today.

The new weekly THS service is operated Saigon Newport Corporation's subsidiary Tan Cang Shipping Joint stock Company (JSC) and Hai An Transport & Unloading JSC, that will deploy two 707-787 Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit (TEU) box ships, the Tancang Glory and the Haian Park.

The service rotation is: Tan Cang 128/Hai An (Hai Phong), VICT (Ho Chi Minh), Cat Lai (Ho Chi Minh), Pasir Panjang (Singapore), Cat Lai (Ho Chi Minh), and VICT (Ho Chi Minh).

The service got underway with the sailing of the Haian Park from Haiphong on August 3. The vessel will reach Singapore on August 9 and return to Haiphong on August 6.

More than 100 dignitaries from the carriers, customers, partners and the authorities attended the launch ceremony recently.
