NCR introduces summer special trains
The authorities of North Central Railways (NCR) have decided to start plying two summer special trains to meet the heavy rush of passengers during the peak summer season.
While one of these summers special would ply between Gorakhpur and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSTM), the second train would run between Maduadih and Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus.
According to Bijay Kumar, the Chief Public Relation Officer (CPRO), NCR, train number 01047/041048 Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus-Gorakhpur will be a special train which will run twice a week.
Train number 01047 would commence its journey from CSTM on every Friday and Tuesday starting from April 14 and continue to run till April 18.
It will pass through various stations including Dadar, Nasik Road, Bhusawal, Itarasi, Jabalpur, Cheoki, Varanasi, Bhatni etc and finally culminating at Gorakhpur. On its journey towards CSTM, train number 01048 would run every Saturday and Wednesday, starting from April 15 to April 19. The train would have 15 sleeper class coaches.
Train number 01182 would leave Madhuadih on every Sunday and operate from April 16 to June 11. This train will have Five third AC coach and Eight sleeper coaches.
