Agility has been awarded a six-year warehousing and logistics contract with Sweden-based Amring, a wholesaler that sells and distributes tyres, rims, complete wheels and related articles for passenger vehicles, trucks and commercial vehicles.

Following the award, Agility announced plans to expand its Gothenburg logistics centre from 8,350 sqm to 23,000 sqm.

As part of the contract, it will provide warehouse services to Amring, as well as bespoke, value-added services including mounting/assembling of wheels.

Agility will coordinate inbound and outbound transport for Amring, and also provide Amring with supply chain assessment and consulting services.

Managing director of Amring, Torbjorn Wilson said that "Agility brings sophisticated supply chain analysis and the creativity, flexibility, personal ownership, and timing we feel we need.”

"Amring recognised the customer-focus and in-depth automotive knowledge Agility brings. We are committed to tailoring solutions that make Amring more nimble and efficient. We are looking forward to collaborating with the Amring team and to expanding our Gothenburg facility to accommodate their specialised warehousing and logistics needs, “ said Agility MD area Nordics, Mats Nordin.
