Adani Logistics commissions multimodal logistics park in Punjab 21 April 2017

Adani Logistics Limited, a subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) and part of Adani Group, on Thursday said it has commissioned and commenced commercial operations at its multimodal logistics park at Kila Raipur, Ludhiana in Punjab.

The company said here in a statement, the latest terminal was dedicated to the nation by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.

The logistics infrastructure facility, spread across 77 acres, is strategically located on the dedicated freight corridor feeder route and will facilitate double-stack train services to Mundra Port in Gujarat.

Larsen and Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm has bagged orders worth INR 2,694 crore across various business segments.

L&T said in a BSE filing today, “The construction arm of L&T has won orders worth INR 2,694 crore across various business segments.”

While the company's water and effluent treatment vertical has secured INR 2,227-crore order, smart world communications business bagged a contract worth INR 180 crore from Greater Visakhapatnam Smart City Corporation.

The company’s transportation infrastructure business has received an order worth INR 287 crore for a road project in Maharashtra.

Larsen & Toubro’s construction arm has secured its single-biggest order worth INR 5,250 crore from Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation for power transmission and network expansion.

The company said in a BSE filing today, “The power transmission and distribution business of L&T Construction has won its single-largest order from its esteemed customer Kahramaa, Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation for its ongoing Qatar electricity transmission and network expansion,.”

Dilip Buildcon on Monday informed the bourses that it has received two Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) road projects in the state of Maharashtra worth INR 580.5 crore.

Dilip Buildcon said that “In accordance with the provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Regulations, 2015, we are pleased to inform that the company has received Letter of Award from the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MORTH), Government of India for two EPC road projects in the state of Maharashtra.”

Reliance Infrastructure bags INR 711 cr project from NHAI 08 April 2017

Reliance Infrastructure Limited (RInfra) today announced that it has bagged a INR 711-crore project in Tamil Nadu from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

The company said in a statement,“RInfra has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from NHAI for the construction of Vikkaravandi to Sethiyahopu section of National Highway (NH)-45 C in Tamil Nadu after it emerged as the lowest bidder for the development of the project on a engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) basis.”

Japan sanctions INR 8,600 cr for Mumbai trans-harbour link project 01 April 2017

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (Jica) today said signed an agreement with the MMRDA to provide 144,795 million yen, or around INR 8,600 crore, official development assistance (ODA) loan for the ambitious trans-harbour link project in the city (MTHL).

Jica said in a statement, "The financial assistance would be utilised to develop an expressway link comprising a dual three-lane main- carriageway bridge connecting Sewri on the northeastern periphery of Mumbai to Chirle in Navi Mumbai.”

Dilip Buildcon declared as lowest bidder for AP project 30 March 2017

Dilip Buildcon has been chosen as the lowest bidder for INR 503-crore road project in Andhra Pradesh.

The company said in a BSE filing, “Dilip Buildcon Limited has been declared as the lowest-1 (L-1) bidder for the project of four-laning, rehabilitation and upgradation of National Highway (NH)-4 from Nalagampalli to AP and Karnataka border under NHDP-IV in Andhra Pradesh in EPC mode.”

It further said: “The contract amount for this four-lane NHAI project to be executed on an EPC basis is Rs. 503.10 crore with 24 months of completion.”

L&T announced on Monday that its construction arm has won 2 orders worth INR 3,195 crore.

The building and factories business segment has won orders worth INR 2,490 crore, while the water and effluent treatment business segment order is of INR 705 crore.

The INR 2,490-crore order is from a premier government organisation, while the water and effluent treatment business segment order worth INR 705 crore will be executed by L&T in a joint venture with Shriram EPC.

PNC Infratech wins INR 2,720-cr highway projects from NHAI 25 March 2017

PNC Infratech has emerged as the lowest bidder for National Highway Authority of India (NHAI)’s two highway projects worth INR 2,720 crore in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

PNC Infratech said in a filing to the BSE, the company has been declared the lowest bidder for the “two hybrid annuity highway projects of NHAI for an aggregate bid project cost of INR 2,720 crore.”

It said one of the projects pertain to four-laning of 75 kilometer (km) Jhansi-Khajuraho section of NH 75/76 (package I) in the states of Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Madhya Pradesh (MP) under NHDP III for INR1,410 crore.

Dilip Buildcon has emerged as a successful bidder for INR 3,269-crore road projects in Maharashtra.

The company said in a filing to BSE, “The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has declared Dilip Buildcon Limited, Bhopal, as the successful bidder [L-1] for three projects in a single stretch in the state of Maharashtra.”

The projects include four-laning of Mahagaon to Yavatmal section of National Highway (NH)-361 (package II) on hybrid annuity mode at a project cost of INR 1,160.64 crore and four-laning of Yavatmal to Wardha section of NH-361 for INR 1,043.28 crore.
