Pawan Hans is set to launch its "Delhi Darshan" rides from next month with a 10-minute sortie costing INR 2,499 per person.
Besides, the state-owned aviation firm will also offer a 20-minute helicopter ride for INR 4,999.
The company's Chairman and Managing Director, B P Sharma, had at the inauguration of its first heliport in north Delhi's Rohini area announced the roll out of these services from April 1.

SpiceJet, on Thursday, flagged-off its first daily direct flight services to Dhaka from Kolkata, making it the seventh international destination for the low-cost carrier.
The flight will help increase connectivity between Bangladesh and India, the carrier said in a release.
Travellers coming for medical and business purposes will also benefit from this new flight, it further added. SpiceJet will also look at providing onward connections to Bangkok, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Guwahati, Bagdogra, Aizawl and Silchar via Kolkata to Dhaka.

Ethiopian Airlines today said it has added Ahmedabad in its freighter service network, its fifth cargo gateway to India.
At present, the airline operates cargo services to four Indian cities -- New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bengaluru-- from capital city Addis Ababa.

AirAsia India today announced the induction of the ninth Airbus A320 aircraft in its fleet, besides commencement of flight services to two new destinations, including Kolkata, from next month.
As part of its expansion plans, the company will commence daily flight services between Kolkata and Ranchi, besides connecting Ranchi with the national capital from April 15.

Air India is looking to launch a direct flight service to Birmingham from Amritsar. Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha said, Air India is examining modalities for launching this (Amritsar-Birmingham) flight.

V O Chidambaranar Port (VOC) has handled record cargo traffic of 36.91 million tonnes (MT) so far, registering a growth of 4.77% over the same period last fiscal.
Ministry of Shipping said in a statement, "The port has handled a record traffic of 36.91 mt till March 17, 2017, with an impressive cargo growth at 4.77% as compared with the same period of last financial year.”
The cargo that contributed to this record performance includes, coal to NTPL (64.11%), wheat (433.61%), lime stone(8.37%), phosphoric acid (106.42%), fertilisers (16%), fertiliser raw materials (7.18%), construction materials (28.75%), and containerised cargo (5%), it said.
