Chongqing to give tax breaks to boost logistics industry development

China's Chongqing will provide tax concessions and other measures of support to promote development of the local logistics industry.

Measures include integrating central and local logistics funds and providing special support for the municipal key logistics parks, projects and enterprises. 

Companies will be exempt from land-transfer taxes for the logistics projects, covering existing factory rebuilding and warehouse capacity expansion, packaging, transport and loading and discharging. Logistics enterprises engaged in encouraged industries in western region can apply for a 15% corporate income tax rate etc.
